Someone Found My Game Through Google’s AI

What if every action could be cancelled?

By Marcin Firmuga·2026-09-09·2 min read·Wednesday Code Autopsy #24

Someone found my game through Google's AI.

He typed something like: free simulation, hard, complex, research, AI competition, timeline. A few games he didn't like showed up. Then he asked for something closer to Game Dev Tycoon.

Somehow Scaling Laws appeared.

He played it. Then he sent me five things that were wrong or unclear.

He even suggested the balance. Lose part of the research time. Pay a cut of the training or upgrade cost if you bail.

I stared at those messages longer than I should have.

I can spend weeks on the same screens and still miss what a player catches in ten minutes. That is not a romantic line about feedback. It is just what keeps happening.

So the cancel option is going in. The office gets fixed. The intro becomes skippable (just by click). Map gets a real control hint.

Next Sunday build, September 13th.

Gavat, thank you for breaking it a little, and for finding it in the first place.

What is the last thing a stranger found in your project that you had been looking straight at?

This is the game behind the post. Scaling Laws is a free AI company tycoon for Windows: January 2022, twelve million dollars, no product. See the game, download it on itch.io or read how it works.
