I opened Google Search Console to check which of my guides people actually find.
Poland is first. 33 clicks in six months.
The Netherlands is second. 32 clicks, and the highest click rate of any country on the list, 4.7%. The United States sends me five times as many impressions and about a third of the clicks.
Eighteen months ago I was in the Netherlands. I was scanning barcodes in a warehouse and I had not written a line of software yet. Nobody there knew me as somebody who builds things, because I was not one.
Today it is the country that clicks my work more readily than anywhere else on earth.
I have no explanation for it. I am putting it here because it is the nicest thing a spreadsheet has told me in a long time.
