Normally I Cut Open My Code Here. Today I Want to Talk About the Person Typing It

A year of public proof, and still no first job in IT.

Wednesday. Normally this is where I cut open a piece of my code and show you how it works. Not today.

I am 22. I live in Radom. I weld plastic in a repair shop, the kind of room that is always too warm, the kind of job you can smell on your clothes at night. That is my day. My nights, for a year and a bit now, belong to PC Workman.

This week it reaches v1.8.5. Fastest, most stable, most honest build I have ever shipped. A menu that used to take two full seconds to open now opens in 17 milliseconds. I spent weeks adding almost nothing, just hunting the places my own code had been quietly lying to me, and closing them for good.

And in about two days, if Microsoft says yes again, that third update lands on the Store by itself. No zip. No "download a random exe."

A year ago that sentence was pure fantasy. 12 dead projects behind me. A 2014 laptop that still hits 94 degrees. Code written after shifts, at 3am, on cheap coffee and toast.

I do not usually say this part out loud

And I still have not been given my first job in IT. Applications go out. Most go silent.

I am not writing this for pity. I am writing it because I am proud of what I built after welding shifts, because I am openly looking, and because maybe the person who can change that scrolls LinkedIn on a Wednesday.

I do not have a commercial title yet. What I have is over a year of public proof: Polish and English, Python and AI, and a habit of not quitting when the work gets heavy.

So if you know a team that hires for what someone can actually build, not only a title on a CV, I am right here.

Welding plastic by day. Building by night. Still here.
